American fun is at an all-time low. And it isn't just adults. Even kids are getting overworked. So whether you’re a 12-year-old or 12 years old on the inside, you needed a solution — a platform that rewards you for having fun and helps thousands of kids who are less fortunate have fun too. Oreo’s PAY IT FUNWARD app was designed to scan your social network and measure your fun levels. The score was then translated into a virtual currency backed by Oreo and its partners. Users were invited to earn even more Cookie Dough by doing fun things and participating in fun activities using a Google Maps-powered locator. Every time you earned $100 of Cookie Dough, congratulatory post & badge from Oreo appeared on your social channels and all the earned cash could be donated to the charity of your choice.
